What World HIV Day keeps on this site

World HIV Day (https://worldhivday.org) is the data controller for what we need to run the site and read mail at info@worldhivday.org. We are not a healthcare facility and we do not keep medical records on this website. Mail we expect is about campaign dates, event links, asset requests, or English copy that went wrong.

When you leave for another website, that destination’s policy applies. We are not the official United Nations World AIDS Day organizers.

Data we hold

Messages you send, reply emails, cited URLs, and short security logs. We do not ask for ID copies or lab results. You can read articles without creating an account.

Legal bases (PDPA)

Legitimate interest to keep the site working, consent for analytics cookies when you accept all cookies, and your request when you ask us to correct a page.

You can access, correct, delete, restrict, receive a copy of, or withdraw cookie consent by writing to info@worldhivday.org.

How long we keep data, and your rights

Editorial mail is kept long enough to close that thread. Server logs rotate with the host. Rights requests go to info@worldhivday.org with a way for us to reply.

Children and emergencies

We do not profile children. If you need PEP or emergency care, call 1663 or go to a hospital. Do not wait for email.

New versions are posted on this page. Questions about clinic appointments go to the clinic — World HIV Day cannot see their calendar.
